|CONNECTING THROUGH LIFE GROUPS:
Life Groups is small groups that meet throughout the week that fellowship together and teach and discuss the Sunday message in depth with each other in a more intimate setting, just as the early church did in the book of Acts (Acts 2:42-47).
Life Groups meets in a home. Please call for time and location.

They need Christ-centered friends to:

- Help them feel welcomed
- Introduce them to friends
- Answer questions
- Encourage them to join a Life Group

Acts 2 Journey: The Holy Spirit Uses People
Many churches hope new believers find a friend, hope they learn the basics of spiritual growth, hope they attend a small group, and hope they reproduce spiritually. Instead of hoping——our church is establishing an intentional process that ensures every new believer and member receives the personal friendship and care they need.
Studies have shown that unless a new member establishes one or more meaningful relationship within six months, he or she is likely to quietly leave through the “back door”.
For years, churches have been overlooking their most valuable resource for evangelism—the new believer. He or she still has “relationship bridges” with non-Christians, and if we can immediately ground the new believer and show them how to share their faith with their non-Christian friends, spiritual multiplication can take place!
Bill Hybels of Willow Creek Church in Chicago said, “The local church is the hope of the world.” This has always been the case, and we can also say that the “local life group” in the local church empowered by the Holy Spirit is the hope of the local church and the world. Everyone matters and has a critical role to play.
What people are saying about “Life Groups” at New Life Church:
“Life Groups is what I look forward to every week. As much as I love leading worship on Sundays, meeting in the middle of the week in an intimate setting helps me grow my faith in Jesus Christ. I also get to connect to His people in a greater level which is an awesome blessing.”
-Andrew Reyes, Worship Leader
“I came to Church for one year and left as soon as Pastor Glen said “Amen.” Then I was invited to connect with a Life Group and that changed everything. I met people and heard their unique stories. When I did a prayer journal, that really put a fire in my soul as I prayed for other people and saw the answers to prayer.”
-Susan Baskett, Hospitality Ministry
“Life Groups is the one place I get to connect with people, worship the Lord, discuss the Sunday message and feel like I am part of New Life Church. When I have to miss one meeting it feels like I have been missed church for a month. Thank God that He led me to this Church through the second outreach card, and now I am really juiced up and living the abundant life.”
-Jeannie Schiefer, Outreach Ministry
“Life Groups is sharing our personal daily experiences in our living a life for Jesus Christ. We get valuable instruction. Nothing is more real than life itself. We sing praises, we get deeper into the word, and we share our prayer needs. And we do this with Life Groups, more intimately, binding us together in the body of Christ.”
-David Van Dusen, Video Media Ministry
"They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved."
